Katie JS Counselling & Psychotherapy
Offering therapy services online, in-person, and outdoors.
I work with a wide variety of issues people face day to day with a special note that I bring personal lived experience to my work with adoptees, neurodivergent individuals, and those navigating grief, infertility and pregnancy loss.
I am a weaver, helping clients gather scattered threads of their experience with care and compassion.

WELCOME
I'm Katie Sands, a psychotherapeutic counsellor with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling (TA) and a UKCP trainee therapist working towards my Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) accreditation.
I offer a welcoming space where you can explore all parts of yourself, even the ones that feel hard to reach. Using curiosity to discover and reflect on who you are, where you have been and what you need.

My approach is relational, shaped by your unique story and the relationship we will form together. I hold an awareness of how early experiences can shape us, though we only explore this if it feels right for you.

With lived experience of adoption and ADHD, I care deeply about trauma and neurodiversity.

Counselling Services
I offer face to face and online therapy. In person sessions are currently carried out indoors in Bromborough (Wirral) and outdoor sessions in Formby & Ainsdale (Outskirts of Liverpool, near Southport). One-hour sessions are £50p/h. I also have a limited number of concessionary rates by request.
